With the new rugby season kicking off, Kerr’s Tyres & Auto, one of Northern Ireland’s leading providers of tyres and automotive services, has come onboard at an exciting time for the business as it looks forward to opening the largest retail tyre centre in Europe, launching mid-way through the 2017/18 Rugby season.
Speaking on the sponsorship, Norman Kerr, Managing Director at Kerr’s Tyres & Auto, said: “This sponsorship is part of our company’s continued commitment to expansion across Northern Ireland. We are glad to align with Ulster Rugby and particularly the referees as they will be present across all sectors of rugby including schools and at local club level. Just as Ulster Rugby referees control and manage the players, making sure they are all in check, our staff ensure your vehicle is fit for purpose and performing to the best of its ability on the roads.”
Neil Hanna, Business Development Manager at Ulster Rugby added: “We are delighted to welcome Kerr’s Tyres & Auto on board to support the Ulster Rugby Referees Society. This professional, highly skilled and family-run business is the perfect partner for the Referees Society at an exciting time for both Ulster Rugby, as the new seasons commences, and Kerr’s Tyres & Auto as they continue their growth across the province.”
Kerr’s Tyres & Auto provides a range of services throughout the province for both the public and commercial fleets. It has recently undertaken a rebrand and name change to reflect the company’s progression.
Kerr’s Tyres & Auto’s new centre and training facility will establish its own in-house training programme for new and prospective employees. The facility will also be open for third-party hire for organisations involved in mechanical and automotive education programmes.
